Have been told today that it is best to have my ovaries removed as the Zoladex injections have not made me menopausal.
Can anyone tell me how they felt after the ovary removal and what the recovery time is likely to be?
I am only 36 so not sure I want to go through even worse menopausal symptoms than am experiencing at the moment.

I am 37 and have ovaries and tubes remove 2 days ago!! It was done as key hole surgery and I came home th nxt day. I am a bit tired but up and about I only neede paracetamol for pain relief. Told to take 2 or 3 weeks off work.

I really thought I posted a reply last night but I cant see it!
I had my ovaries removed in 1999 went in at 8.30am and was home in the evening 3 small holes one in navel for camera and the other two looked like little kiss very cute. I took red clover, sage and dong quay so did not suffer hot flushes for long.
I am now going to do the lottery and use my powers for my own financial gain!
