i had mastectomy and reconstruction on 6th dec.I had hardly any pain it was gt, much better than expected. i know a lot of numbness stops pain. I am feeling a lot of pain now its not all the time and bearable. i just don’t know if this is right after 6 weeks. i get the usual tingles from nerves etc. my arm gets stiffer as day goes on but i exercise regularly. the pain is like a strained muscle i suppose. if i lay down overnight i do feel a pain in the morning in my cleavage but expect this is all settling down after getting up…this other pain is like above my boob towards my neck almost if my boob is too heavy if you know what i mean. walking is fine its when i sit down in armchair and then go to get up again. its all very tender above the boob could it be bruising although nothing showing. i did mention it to nurse but never really got an answer. will try again tomorrow but if anyone get any solutions or things i can say to nurse i would be grateful thanks. i just want reassurance that its part of recovery

I had mastectomy Jan last year, no recon, but remember being really tender above boob for a long time after, I put it down to where they took nodes out?? Also lying on my side at night was a no-no for quite some time.
