In December 2013, I had the hadfields operation on my right breast, the diagnosis was duct ectasia. Since then I have had 2 recall mammograms and further ultra sounds. The last ultra sound I had was back in July and the senior radiologist carried it out as there were concerns with the images. I received the results at the beginning of August and everything was fine. I am still under the breast clinic as I have just had the procedure done to the left breast, just waiting for an appointment to get the results.
A few weeks ago, I went to the gp for something else but mentioned I had been getting pain in my right armpit for 2.5 weeks, he told me to go back 2 weeks later. I’ve not gone back as I wanted to give the pain a chance to go away. The pain is still there and I can feel a bead type lump. I am not sure whether to go back to the gp or whether to wait for my letter to come through the post for my results on my left side and then mention it. I’ve been told will more than likely be back in clinic in 3-4 weeks time. Is this too long to wait? Many Thanks xx

Hi Jo
Thank you, I am going to leave it for a few days as i’m still sore from my hadfields operation I had on my other breast. Once I feel fit to drive, I will make an appointnent to see my gp as I have reddy purple blood spots that have appeared overnight xx
