pain in upper arm

I had second chemo last week. First time I got pain in upper arm but this time much worse. Have had heat packs on all night and took ibuprofen but still sore. My vein feels hard buy not red hot or swollen so thinking possible phlebitis. Has anyone else suffered this and got any tips for pain management

Hi it’s ok I went to hospital luckily as was a DVT! Had heparin injection which need daily now until chemo finished
