pains
pains Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone else suffers with pain in their arm, this has really only started since i had surgery, feb, the pain is around the elbow and goes down the arm, ( had WLE, ANS). I also had pains in the affected boob for the last couple of weeks, i went to visit my GP who said she thought it could of been an infection, she gave me antibiotics and told me to go back in a week, the swelling went down, but the pain still their, maybe not as bad as it was last week, she is now refaring me back to the consultants,
I also have a lot of back ache, lower back, and this pain as really been there probably since diagnose in jan, now the pain is also in my right side, ( same side a bc), i have mentioned this to my GP, but doesnt seem interested in the pain, only my boob,
I have also heard alot of you say you have had MRI scans, i really think now, i would be able to get on with things if i could have one of these scans, i think now i am getting paranoid, and think having a full scan would help me get through it, problem is how do i get one of these scans,
I was given a BC nurse right at the begining of the diagnose, but to be honest she phoned me 2 times and then kept saying she would meet me in my next app, or she would come visit me after my op etc etc, and i not even seen nor heard from her, so dont feel i can phone her to talk.
any advice, would be apprecaited

Hi Karen I too had WLE in September 2005 and have had arm pain since then. I too get it down to my elbow and along arm. I think it’s all as a result of surgery. The only thing that seems to relieve it for me and others here is exercises and massage. I have never been able to get rid of it completely and is a common side effect of WLE surgery. I also get pains in shoulder and in neck on affected side. If I find out about a miracle cure, I will gladly share it with you.
