Has anyone had a similar experience? Diagnosed early 2023. This month, made contact regarding a new symptom. Chased up response as no callback after 6 days. Phone call from breast cancer nurse but I explained that I could not speak privately at that time. Told we’ve requested an appt anyway so no need to discuss. Also told that would be at least 2 weeks for an appt. When I last contacted the service 2 years ago, I received a callback next day & saw breast cancer nurse following day. The experience has left me feeling much more worried & unsupported. Is this how patient initiated follow-up is these days?
Hi @vee11. We are so sorry to hear this, it must be such a worrying time for you.
I would really recommend reaching out to our nurses if you are feeling overwhelmed, or if you have any questions. Sometimes it can just be helpful to talk things through. You can reach them on our free helpline 0808 800 6000, and you can call them as many times as you want or need.
I truly hope you are able to get some answers soon from other members of the forum, and that you are able to find comfort and support in the meantime.

I agree, I’ve experienced much the same as yourself. I also feel that when I do call I’m being a nuisance and stopping them from doing their jobs.
Unfortunately I now feel that it’s really not worth me contacting them.
