Just thought I’d post after returning from the Breast Cancer Trek in Peru. I was sat on the plane to Peru exactly year to the date of my first chemo! (29th April 2010)I never dream’nt that I would be able to do such a thing back then. I met 10 other amazing people who all had some connection to breast cancer. We spent 12 days having the adventure of a lifetime! Most of the time spent laughing but some spent sharing tears! Its very hard to put into words what an amazing time I had but I can only recommend this trek for a lifetime experience. Knowing that we were all raising funds for such a worthwhile charity.!
Well done you! I am only just starting chemo but have already decided I need a challenge to aim for in the future but it might not be as impressive as your achievement. x
(Have just walked to the local shop and feel exhausted)
Bl**dy brilliant sarah! 2010 was so hard, you’ve done brilliantly to do this trek so soon after finishing your treatment. May even try it myself now that you’ve guinea-pigged it for me. You should be hugely proud of what you’ve achieved, and of the money you have raised. What was your total?
Wow How brilliant well done.Hope you raised loads of dosh and are feeling v. proud of yourself, what an achievement.J xx
Hi Tedoris,

What an amazing achievement, Sarah! To come out of Chemo hell and go on to complete such demanding challenge should make you feel incredibly proud! What a difference a year makes! Well done you!! X
