Thank you everyone for your kind help and advice earlier this month.
Really wasn’t scary at all. In fact, liked the routine every day and staff were so lovely - I will miss them. In a way, I’ll miss going as felt I was working towards a goal and now I just have to hope everything has done it’s job!! Fingers crossed it’s abliterared the little s#@t !
hi Emma,
Oddly, enjoying radiotherapy seems to be a common experience! So glad to hear you’re out the other side.

Thanks everyone. At mo feeling great, even positI’ve. I went to a Younger Women Together Event hosted by Breast Cancer Care in Liverpool this weekend (travelled all the way from Devon) and it was brilliant and so so glad I went. To meet others under the age of 40 with similar issues and concerns made me feel so normal and not alone and met great people and a lady speaker who was on How to Look Good Naked about 10 years ago following a mastectomy. Her talk was emotional as was the clip of the programme as she was in a bad place then … now she is doing amazing. …and she has really helped me feel positive about things and that there is life after treatment. Tad knackered right now from a busy weekend but fully intend to do my usual 10 mile walk tomorrow and will start running again soon when I am comfortable again in a sport bra xx
That’s great Emma I never realised until I got this that so many others have it too and I find it very reassuring somehow that I’m not going through this alone, if you know what I mean, I felt very isolated when I was first diagnosed
