Last weds I was awoken by a pain in my left breast and the next morning it hadn’t gone away. I went to see my doc and she has referred me to the breast clinic. No appointment as yet. I was put on antibiotics but nothing has changed really. It was really sore to even walk last Thursday but that has gone. We couldn’t feel a lump when I was examined by my doc but the day after I felt a small lump. It was very tender at that spot. The tenderness has moved around a bit and now to add to it I’m due my period next week. I don’t know if I’m imagining things but it feels a little itchy today although I can get that with my period being due. There is no inverted nipple, no dimpling. There was a bit of a red mark on Thursday but that went. To say I’m beyond distraught is well … I’m about to get married in October and I have two teenage daughters. I am so scared I can barely concentrate. I’ve done the fateful thing nod looked on the internet and all I can see is IBC. I just don’t know what to do and how to hold it all together

You have done the right thing and the waiting is the worst part.
I have an appointment Monday for a lump in my right breast so i understand how you are feeling…as most on here will do too.
Try and keep busy it could well be just a cyst being so tender and close to your period, but it’s important to get it checked anyway xx

Thanks. I’ve just got my appointment today 7th April!! Not happy with it. Way too far away. So going to phone the clinic I think. Good luck to you too. Hope things are good for you x
