Hello ladies, My name is Jenny and I was diagnosed with High grade breast cancer in the left breast in August 2009. Following a skin preserving mastectomy, during which I lost my nipple, the cancer was successfully removed. I have since had a delayed LD Flap reconstruction in June 2010, which is healing well.
I am all too aware of how the diagnosis, surgeries and resulting scars can make you feel, I have a significant scar myself and it has taken me a while to get used to my new form and my scars.
I recently asked my husband to take a picture of me, to make me feel sexy and beautiful. I put makeup on, did my hair and posed tastefully whilst he clicked away. The images are better than I thought they would be. I have my own photography business and would dearly love to create a ‘Pink Ladies’ gallery on my website, to showcase some tasteful images of us Pink Ladies, feeling beautiful and sexy.
