I know I keep on about making a decision about a recon, but I have finally made a doctor’s appointment to ask for a referral. I am thinking about Elaine Sassoon, only because her name seems to crop up more often than others.
I have had other recommendations, but only one person recommending each surgeon.
I am looking for a specialist not a general PS, are there any others in the North London/Cambridge area.

Peterborough is a long way from where I live, but probably a bit closer than Norwich. I live in North Herts

I had Mr Abdullah at Edith Cavell, who has a good reputation. It’s too early to say yet about the long term result, but he has made a good 'match’size wise. I feel like I have a ‘rock’ sitting on my chest though! Whether this will ease in time or not, is hard to say. Best of luck,

I had my op at the Royal Free in London with Patrick Mallucci, he is fantastic and specialises in breast reconstruction using DIEP but does all forms of recon. He holds his NHS post at Royal Free but also has a private clinic in London.
