Hi All,
I had breast cancer in 2009 with lymph node sampling all clear there, had chemo radiation and now on tamoxifen. Since Jan this year I have ben having cellulitis in my affected Arm every 6 weeks, has anyone had this and if so what treatment did you have??? So fed up with it my Arm has weakened on that side also. Any advice greatly appreciated as docs keep giving me antibiotics which does clear it but it keeps coming back.

I am sorry to see you haven’t received any replies. Unfortunately we have been having some problems with new posts on the site not appearing in latest posts or in the moderation section, therefore it is difficult for new posts to be seen. You might need iv antibiotics to blast it then a longer term oral antibiotic to keep it at bay. Are you diabetic? What antibiotic and dose are they giving you?

Hi Sam,
No am not Diabetic have been tested for it, they plan on admitting me if it returns again next week for longer IV antibiotics so hope it works am on Erthyomycin x2 a day (500mg) at the mo as no symptoms.
