hi sherin,
you must be very worried and i don’t want to want to attempt a diagnosis. the very best thing you can do is get whatever is under your arm checked out by your gp. i first found a lump under my arm but it was a lump not a bulge. i went to my gp and he found the tumour in my breast and i have had treatment since. this doesn’t mean that you have cancer most people who find something don’t.
but please, please go and have it checked, make an appointment asap and then congratulate yourself that you have made a positive move to get this sorted,
take care,
love
lenny
Dear sherin,
sounds like you need it checking it and the sooner the better, more often than not these things turn out to be nothing but always need to be checked either way you are taking action which stops the fear.
Lenny’s advice sounds very sensible, please do something to get it sorted soon and do let us know.

Like the others have said it will probably be nothing but a change in your shape, especially if you have put on weight recently. That said you should get any change checked out. Nobody will think you are silly or over reacting if that’s what’s stopping you. GPs are used to seeing people in this situation and are normally very sympathetic. Don’t let your imagination run away with you. And you can always laugh at yourself afterwards if it turns out to be nothing.

hi,
you are better to get this checked out sooner rather than later, cos in my experience Drs arent in any hurry to appease your fears when you are young and have no family history. I found a lump in march and was at my gps within the week but took a further 8 weeks before they started to take it seriously. It is very rare in younger women - i think statistically only 5.5% of women diagnosed with BC are under 50 - so even less likely for under 30’s!
Good luck - hope all goes well 4 u!
Please go to the GP and just get it checked - the GP may just give you an immediate diagnosis or refer you on for further investigation and either way you get to understand if there is a problem.
Dont start to worry just yet there may not be anything to worry about but do get it checked out within a week.
Best wishes
Hi Sherin…
Please…please go to your doctor…I don’t want to be a scaremonger…I was diagnosed at 53 but when in hospital the number of younger women having treatment for breast cancer was unbelieveable…the youngest was only eighteen…don’t neglect your health…Most breast lumps etc are beneign… pluck up the courage to go to your doctor.
