Please help . . . .

Hi All

I was dx in 2005 and had WLE node negative chemo and radiotherapy. Have been fine since and had a mammo and blood tests last month - all clear.

I woke up yesterday and the breast where I had the WLE looked redder than the other one. Sometimes it does this and I think it is caused by damage from all the radiotherpay as I also have lymphoedema.

HOwever it is still as red today. It is not hot, itchy or painful just slightly redder with like broken veins under the skin.

I have now scared myself witless I have Infammatory breast cancer> PLEASE can anyone help me - does anyone else get a red boob on the radiated side and does IBC present like this?

Love to all

Alise x

Hi Alise im sure if it has done this before and does go down it is nothing to worry about but im sure you could still ring youre breast or lymphoedema nurse just for peace of mind. We all get worried about the least little a bnormal thing after bc its only natural to be concerned so please ask hospital for youre own sanity x julie
