Just to note, it works best if the tube is slightly warm so the mixture softens. Not a problem in the current weather! I was putting the tubes under a hot water bottle, in my pocket or just sitting on them for a few minutes for them to soften up,

My honest answer to this is I’m 50/50 as to whether Polybalm helped me despite buying two lots of it during my treatment!
My toenails all survived EC (Docetaxel/Cyclophosphamide) chemo with minimal damage (it’s 12 weeks since I finished chemo now and have started to get some white half moon lines on them). My nails however did not survive despite religiously applying Polybalm every day even just before I started chemo. I only have one nail that is ok! The rest are either showing damage or are discoloured so I’m hiding it with polish! The damage started almost at the end of chemo. I’ve never worn gel nails and my nails have always been fine previously! I honestly think chemo affects everyone so differently, for one person it will work and for another it won’t! x
Gosh I lost my nails, they are now trying to grow but weak, and peel a lot.. Anybody know of something to rebuild ? I also had EC after Taxol and Perjita. It is really embarrassing. No hair snd no eyebrows, no lashes, no nails.. but toe nails survived..
