my aunty is having a mastectomy next week, and I wondered if there were any specific ways I could help her post operation? Any care packages I could get for her etc?

I’m not sure about this. It may make a difference depending on the age of your aunt. I’d probably ring the helpline to find out.
If your aunt is on her own she will need some help. She won’t be able to drive (if she usually does). I was sent home with a drain still in situ and had the district nurses coming out. Also really good to have someone helping with all the basics like shopping, preparing meals etc.
Might be useful if you say a bit more about your aunt’s circumstances as someone here may know more about this.
