Had my hysteroscopy done this afternoon, also a D and C. Won’t get the results for 7 days, but the consultant came round afterwards and said she wasn’t recommending any follow up as she doesn’t think there is anything to worry about. She said she thinks it’s more to do with the thickening of the lining of the womb since I saw her 2 years ago; also the neck of my womb was very tight, so she said they have opened it up slightly.
Had real problems with my rubbish veins, so the anaesthetist recommended they wrapped me up in bed with a heat pad. Still took 5 goes to get a vein. All the ladies on the day ward were complaining about the anaesthetist, his manner was so awful and deadpan it was like being seen by Dr Death lol. Apparently he was just about to retire and I got the impression he couldn’t wait.
Anyway, fingers crossed all will be well when the results come back. Beddy byes for me soon, I feel quite dozy but in a pleasant way. Bought some nice fudge as a treat on the way home, think I’ll have some with a cuppa before the land of nod.
