Evening all,
I had surgery a week ago, both wounds healing well and home and mobilizing well.
Problem I seem to have is being unable to eat much…I manage half a meal and then feel really sick and bloated for a few hours after the meal, until I pass wind(bowels been ok so far!)
anyone had similar problems??
thank you and lots of love

Hi snowdrop44
That sounds just like me - go easy on yourself and eat little and often.
Maybe a slice of toast for breakfast, then a hour or two later small bowl of cereal, followed by maybe a yoghurt.
Earlier on this evening I struggled to finish a kids sausage and chip meal from a local chippy and this is a week on from my operation!!
A friend of mine who had a tummy tuck operation to tidy up numerous operation scars had warned me about the meals and she was right. In hospital - I would have one or two mouths of food and think - Ive had enough - it is getting easier though.
It might be time to adopt this lifestyle permanently - I might get back the slim svelt body of my teenage years!! lol!
