Hi, I’ve recently seen a PS and am considering double DIEP reconstruction. Does anyone know if they do any scans/investigations to check for cancer recurrence/spread before going ahead with this type of surgery? BB
Hi I had a DIEP in march this year. I had a ct scan to check for blood vessells in the abdomen that they could use, other than that just usual pre op checks, ecg, bloods, weight blood pressure etc. Best wishes suzan x
