pre-menopausal, fibroids, heavy periods, will tamoxifen worsen situ plus last chance for child

Hi everyone,
Anyone else in my situation or been in my situation? The doc’s say tamoxifen generally tends to make periods lighter but that they can become erratic. My concern is that given how ridiculously heavy the first couple of days of my period are if it became erratic it would cause real problems (getting completely caught out) and that if the endometrium thickens I may get worse days in periods, or it may make things a nightmare for when I get to the end of 5 years of tamoxifen. Having had surgery re cancer in boob, hardly want surgery to my other womanly parts!
Also aware that due to my age (early/mid 40s) pre tamoxifen will be my last chance to have a child, but that due to increased risk if I don’t take tamoxifen, let alone increased levels of oestrogen during pregnancy it would seem perhaps somewhat selfish to try to have a child anyway (my cancer lump was highly oestrogen positive). Think I have just about come to terms with this but still feel sad about it at times. I don’t have any nieces, nephews or cousins etc which makes it a bit harder, albeit a few friends have kids though not many of them live particularly nearby. Again, anyone else been through this or going through it now? I know all the lines on using the time to go out and do other stuff…increased flexibility re future etc but! Just feels a bit like last chances are having a door walloped shut…rather than gently closing with some degree of fate thrown in.
Keep telling myself I could use all that time to do something creative!
Anyone else been here and emerged through with some pearl of sight and personal growth?
Thanks
