thanks to all u lovely and understanding people, i had my op on friday without fear, ok just a teensy bit, 20 mins out of recovery I walked to the day room and made myself a coffee. anyway am back home didn,t even need the pain killers they gave me. surgeon said I should go my hols, going to southport for a week with new tourer, she said a few days late for clinic wouldn,t make a difference hope she is right, i,m so privilledged to live under the scottish excecutive, had core biopsy same day as mammo and op a week later. its my opinion fast treatment should be available to all. anyway am so glad I found this site, the people here are inspirational and makes me realise I am not alone. cheers, g/luck and best wishes to a ll. and thankyou lots for helping me deal with my fears. get results on 12th sept. hope its benign but if not I can now deal with it and get on with it. (kelly,s blog was a real inspiration)
