Pretty much good news

Went to Ross Hill Hospital tonight for private appointment. Everyone was lovely. I was examined then sent for a US (no to mamm since I am so young  ) The lump was less detectable on US than first thought so was sent back to consultant for a FNA. They were very confident that it is nothing to worry about but wanted to do the biopsy to be sure. I asked if the biopsy could wait till my NHS appointment next week (one eye on my purse) and the doc said that was perfectly reasonable, he would send my notes across to Falkirk Breast Clinic.

I feel like a weight has been lifted. I know it is not the ‘all clear’ but I do actually think the lump feel slightly smaller over the last couple of days. I finished my period 4 days ago so it could be related to that. It might even be gone altogether by my NHS appointment next week.

Thanks for all the support everyone, esp Lilac and HelloKitty. I am going to stay off this site for the next few days as I need to get my head back into my big move and back where it needs to be. I also need to start thinking about the Walk the Walk on Saturday night. I think I have a lady in mind for every one of the 26 miles and I will be making more of a concerted effort to up up up the sponsors. There is a big part of me that has be genuinely touched by this experience, my eyes have been opened to the realities and cruelties of the disease and my heart has been opened to the warmth and generosity of spirit of those in even the darkest of situations. Much love to you all.

Glad to hear that your news sounds pretty good.

Good luck with the walk on Saturday

Thank goodness for that, I will be keeping my fingers and toes firmly crossed for you sweetie.

Got your email A - delighted that they have given you the semi-all-clear. I’m sure once you get seen next week in Falkirk you will be grand.

Remember that the parking is horrendous at Falkirk Royal - I always have ppl offering to take me but to be honest I find it much easier to just get the bus… alternatively park in the Howgate and walk up to the hospital.

Good luck with the Walk on Saturday … I will be sitting at home cheering you on.

that’s great news xx hope you can get back on and let us know the final outcome! Now get packing xx

Good luck with your walk!

I must say I think you have coped marvellously with all of this worry.

Love Jules xx
