Hi all. Well I have had a lot of tests and a lot of info. Yes it’s Her 2 positive, and grade 3, but is contained in the breast. I was told after their big meeting I don’t need a biopsy or mri, so I think that’s a good thing? I have an oncology appointment on Monday. I’ve made a wig appointment this week locally, and I’m having another breast marker put in on Friday as I have BC in two places in the breast. I want to just get on with it now.

Hi, yes I did. I have invasive lobular cancer. I need a contrast mammogram hopefully within the next two weeks. If there are no other traces I’ll have a lumpectomy followed by 5 days of radiotherapy and hormone meds for 5 years. If there are traces elsewhere then that will be reviewed. It’s grade 2. Lots of reading to do this weekend and getting my house in order!

I was feeling okay until I read about other people’s experiences of lobular cancer on this forum. It seems she’s a tricky one so I’m not as confident of this being eradicated as I was initially.
