Just back from getting results of liver ultrasound which was done after FEC x3 and just had 1st TAX last Friday.
Initially I had been told I had 5 liver mets and registrar said today there were "many - more than 5 and that was it.
Anyone else out there with similar experience Feeling pretty down and hopeless at the moment.

Sorry to hear you’ve had such disappointing results. Perhaps it’s just that you’re not responding to the FEC and you may respond really well to the TAX. I will keep everything crossed that that is the case. I had FEC for my bone mets two years ago and it worked well, but now have progression to my liver and having 6 x TAX - was told by the chemo nurse that I’ve barely scratched the surface of available treatments so hang in there, I know it’s really hard.

I’m so sorry to read that FEC hasn’t worked for you but I was reassured that Tax was the gold standard treatment. I know everything stills seems hopeless but as Lesley says there are lots more treatments.
