Try and do something today that you really enjoy. A nice walk in the crisp sunshine perhaps? I know it’ll be at the back of your mind, but do try and have a good day today.
Wishing you good news for tomorrow.

Thank you revcat and dotty - been out for lovely walk along the canal with my husband - cooking a really unhealthy fattening meal for dinner and trying to be positive! I really do appreciate all your comments and am also very grateful as you have all been through/going through an awful time and I have just been thinking about myself. Lots of love and good wishes to you all
Katy xx
I know of someone who had the signs of breast cancer minus lump and it was mastitis so referral could be for review of situation maybe??
Hope all goes well!
Marina xx
Hello just wanting to wish you luck for tomorrow,I know you are there early.
There are a number of things that you can have minus lumps and swollen lymphs, remember you said you were ill with cough/cold and I know it takes a while for your lymps to go back down if they have been fighting a infection or virus.
You have yearly mammograms so I wouldn’t worry yourself too much.
It is really highly unlikely that you have developed BC over what 8 months?
Listen I asked my surgeon if it was wise for me to have my other boob off ?
His reply: No because your on the radar now and with mammograms we would know far before you could even feel anything.
So I know you can’t feel anything and in a ordinary case of breast cancer you would have a lump in your breast and only after this after a period of time it would go to your nodes.
Stop freting and see what they say tomorrow, also it goes in your fabour if they never did a biopsy of your nodes again suggesting they don’t think it is breast cancer.
All the best, ohh you need to take someone to support you. xx
You have probably left for your appointment by now, but thinking of you as you find out your results.

Rightie then,I hope everyone else is doing well? xx
I went to the doctors yesterday as I too have a lump which comes and goes also I have puckering. I never really go to the doctors and to be honest I even apologised to my gp if I had wasted her time lol!
Following the exam she informed me that she is referring me to the hospital for more tests but it’s going to be at least 2 weeks before I even get an appointment. (Why do we have to wait so long?) My husband is already flapping and constantly asking if I’m okay and it’s only been 24 hours ( he is going to drive me mad).
I’m so glad I went now but also a little annoyed with myself for not going sooner hence I am feeling worried.
Time to take a man up pill haha! Stupid to worry about something until I know for sure.
Sharron xx
Hi Sharron ,having to wait when you have something so anxiety provoking hanging over you is rubbish. You just want it seen immediately and hopefully get some reassurance .The vast majority of referrals to the breast clinic turn out not to be cancer so the odds are on your side .Try and keep busy ,try and tune out husbands flapping and let us know how you get on.Jill.
Hi Sharron. I went to the doctor last Monday about puckering on my breast and I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow. I am worried and when I google “causes of breast puckering” I just get pages and pages of Breast cancer info ?. It’s not easy is it?
Hi all I have an appointment next Wednesday for scan, mammogram and biopsy. Hopefully I will have some answers by then. Thank you for being so supportive I really do appreciate it. I have had to stop myself from googling my symptoms. Was worrying myself stupid lol!
Yes ,lots of us humans out there!!!Good luck with your appointment .
My girlfriend, who is 41 recently had a little pain in one of her breasts although as it was around the time of her monthly cycle i wasn’t particularly concerned, as well as the fact she tends to sleep on that side and could have easily caught it.
However, the pain caused her to examine her breasts and found the skin puckered on that one.
She went to see her GP who after examining her said that breast felt ‘lumpy’ and made an appointment at the local hospital for further investigation.
To be honest, i examined her and found puckering on the other breast too although i could not detect lumpiness in the one affected.
If one delves too deeply into anyone’s breast they are bound to feel ‘lumpiness’ as there are lots of blood vessels that may feel like ‘lumps’ so i was not particularly concerned about that.
But back to this ‘puckering’ - i found it elsewhere on her body, on her tummy, on her inner thighs and it was probabl;y on her bum but she stopped me before i could see for myself !!??
I arrived at the conclusion, this puckering is an age related thing, as well as the fact she has been trying to lose weight and succeeded, which could also account for it.
She went to the hospital this afternoon and saw the consultant and after having a mammogram was given the all clear and discharged.
Thanks be to God in the name of Jesus Christ.
