Hi ladies anyone else been told their recurrence [my third] is not curable but managable, quality of life is better at the present,without starting on chemo at the moment but is an option at later date,am to carry on with aromasin and have more scans and bloods done in June.Anyones thoughts on this.
Sorry I can’t really help, but if that is what the doctors propose it is probably best for you at the moment. Is this a recurrence or secondaries ? I am just bumping you up.

I have a regional recurrance which cannot be ‘cured’. I kind of feel in Limbo with no longer being on the path back to my old life, but not yet having secondaries.
I’m triple negative, so chemo will be the only option for me if my scan on Friday shows any growth or progression in my nodes. I’ve been keeping up on the cabecitibine (sp) thread, as my Onc has said this will be the chemo I’ll have. Reading the experiences of the ladies on there it seems doable, as they say! I just hope I have the same success & for as long as they have had.
