Hi there,
I’m new to this forum and also to posting something like this online.
I’ve recently had an ultrasound for a lumpy area on my right hand breast. I’ve been told that this is a benign change. ‘They saw nothing focal, no lump or anything suspicious’ Which of course I’m very thankful for.
In the past I’ve been told I have a small area of focal nodularity in that breast but now the findings say ’ nothing focal’ My question is - does the ‘nothing focal’ relate to to the nodularity or mean something else in Dr’s lingo?
I didn’t think to ask at the time, as I was both relieved and flustered but just want to get that straight in my head.
Also, does nodularity change over time from being focal to diffuse to maybe none at all?
Sorry for the slightly bizarre questions about nodularity but any help with this would be great, so I can get my head straight.
Thanks.
