hope I can jon your thread. It’s interesting to read all your comments. I’m worried out about my weight but at the moment I’m 7st 5ish and due to start me chemo in the next week or two I know I’m having 4 lots of epi and 3 lots of FEC i think?
I’m worried because i’m already underweight and really can’t afford to lose any. I’ve lost about 1/2 stone since i was dx due to stress and worry.
Is anyone or has anyone been in the same situation as me?

I have not started chemo yet, but I have been trying to lose weight for 18 months been on a weight reduction programme with my GP, have had hunger suppressants (which I have not needed since being DX in Dec weight been dropping off due to stress and lack of appetite!) I am relieved to find out that some of you are saying you have not gained weight as this is one of my many worries about chemo, as I have now lost 2 stone believe me there is plenty more to go! I can imagine how if you are at the other end it can also be worrying. My Onc led me to believe that if you continue to eat healthily then it should be ok, we will see!
I have always had a healthy diet and exercised, but obviously my gym membership is currently suspended due to op, I was also told I could not go swimming during chemo as you are susceptible to infections.
