rads for underarm/nodes?

Hiya!

I have just had round 3 of 6 FECs, have booked a holiday to Florida with the family very end of August to have something to look forward to.

When looking at insurance saw that I have to have finished chemo and rads with a month clear before travelling. I will have my appt to plan rads around 5th chemo, but just wondered if I am just having rads to underarm how long do you think my rads will go on for?

Onc said it should be shorter than for the chest wall, but how short is short? 3 weeks?

Hi Paula,
Not sure if it helps, but l was told under the arm would be 5 days a week for 3 weeks!
You could always give your bcn a ring to confirm, l am sure they would know
