Raised liver ALT

Going through breast cancer treatment Chemotherapy

Hello all

Has anyone had raised liver ALT levels whilst on chemo? I am also having daily fragmin injections so could it be that?

Any experiences that could reassure me?

I had an extremely low ALT before I started chemo so it never rose enough to be above normal but it did rise quite a bit. Chemo stresses out the liver and your ALT will be effected as a result. If your oncologist isn’t worried about it I wouldn’t be. Numbers go wonky on chemo and they expect that.
