Hi everyone This is my first post. I have just seen my onc and had bloods taken and expected to start chemo on Tuesday. Bloods came back with raised lfts and have now got to have liver scan. It is only three weeks since my mx and wondered if the raised lfts could have anything to do with anaesthetic. Anyone had this same problem?

Hi jackie I had raised lft before I started treatment and had a ct scan it turned out that I have a fatty liver.There a many things that can cause raised lft .I know its hard but please try not to worry,I hope every thing turns out ok for you love mell

Thanks for your replies. It’s good to know that there is always someone out there who is thinking of you and has been through a similar experience. I am still waiting for my scan date but should hear sometime this week, hopefully before the weekend as we are hoping to go away to Norfolk for a few days R&R before I start my chemo. Love Jackie
