I was diagnosed in July 07, had 8 lots of chemo and 3 ops, then rads. I have been on Tamoxifen since summer 08 and have just had another odd high liver level test,raised gamma gts. I have had a scan and CT and all clear, they said possibly to do with having a slight fatty liver, which if you do a google search with tamoxifen, it can cause fatty liver, and high levels in some liver function tests. Oddly
My onc said raised levels nothing to do with Tamoxifen, so I am interested in what anyone has experienced and what their onc has said etc.

Dear DawnCr, In my experience oncologists do not admit side effects of drugs easily. If they did a lot of people would not go on the drugs!! Of course there are numerous side effects to drugs and they has effects in different ways for different people.You need to take in the information you have got and challenge him/her.
