I had LD flap surgery on both sides 4 weeks ago. I’m pleased with the results, but on my original mastectomy side (the right side), I have a raised area above the breast where the upper part of the pec muscle is. The left side, that was my previous ‘good’ side is ok and a much better shape. I’m due to see my surgeon in a couple of weeks and will ask him about it, but wondered if any other ladies had experienced this uneveness. Is it because my right mastectomy side was in effect ‘different’ to the ‘normal’ left side? I don’t even know if it’s swelling, but I’m guessing that is must be. It’s not ‘puffy’ like the swelling on my back though.
I had very small implants put in (150cc), and don’t know if it’s due to the fact that the right side hasn’t ‘dropped’ properly yet. Would implants this small really show if they hadn’t?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
