Hi everyone,
Just wondering has anyone suffered from a rash round their stomach while on chemo .I am on day 12 of my first chemo .I first noticed it yesterday morning then forgot about it as it is where your jeans go ,then i noticed it again tonight as i got out of the sheower .Not many spots but they were bright red .They have died down now so must have been the heat. I have no temp and dont feel unwell at all .

I don’t know if this is relevant but I came up in what looked like a heat rash on my arms and shoulders/back during tax (following 3 x fec).
I took antihistamines for a couple of days but then the rash developed into tiny white spots which turned out to be an infection of the hair follicles. I went to my GP who gave me Flucloxacillin ( antibiotic capsules) and it cleared up in a couple of days. I had no temperature and felt well.
I would just keep an eye on it and see if it settles.

Thanks appreciate that .Im at docs tom for my sick note so might ask .Hate to ring the helpline up as they tell you to go to the hospital at the slightest thing.I know thats what they are there for and that they are only looking after you but sometimes its easier to post on here and someone usually helps . Its good we all have this and can help each other .
