Hi all,

I just wanted to know if anybody has been dx with Subchondral mets on elbow or mets on elbow?.
I’m experiencing pain from some time now and getting quite anxious about it.

I have been having a little pain in my elbows, it’s been diagnosed as wear & tear, it’s a stingy, tingly sort of feeling. Perhaps yours is similar?
You could contact your BCN or give the helpline on here a phone, anything to put your mind at rest, do it today!

Hi,
I too have been having a major problem with pain in my right elbow and have noticed that I am not able to grip/squeeze very well with that hand. I am having scan/xray on friday so may have an answer for you after that.

Katytc you said you’ve been dx with wear and tear, how was the dx done?, I mean, what test have you underwent for this?

happynipple, give your doc a phone today and make an appointment.
I had a bone scan and was told that it showed wear and tear on my elbows, at that time I didn’t have any pain whatsoever, it’s only recently I am aware of the tingly, stinging sensation.

Hi Katyc,

I phoned my hospital and also, I have an appointment with my GP this Friday. What is exactly this “tear and wear”, as you mention you had a bone scan I guess you went through your onco to get this investigation. Has this anything to do with mets, I mean the tear and wear or is just related to any other bone proble. I am taking Letrozole at the moment and before, I was on Tamoxifen. Are you on any of this hormone therapies?

Hi Happynipple,
Had it last fri, results go to onc, if it is anything to do with bc I will get an app to see her, if it is anything else she will pass it on to my GP who will let me know, process will take 7-14 days, I hate this waiting, also had a physio app yesterday who wants to wait for the results before doing anything, I have also got my 3 monthly scan on liver mets next month, last one showed no new growth so fingers crossed :slight_smile: How are you doing now?

Good news at todays GP app. I have arthriis in my right shoulder, which is affecting the nerves which is why my hand/fingers have pins and needles and numbness, I am so pleased that it was not bone mets I smiled throughout the consultation :slight_smile: just hoping for a good result for liver now.

Sorry I haven’t replied to your previous post. I am really pleased the pain is not mets. I will keep my fingers crossed for your liver results.
I’ve been to the hospital last Monday. I found some glands swollen on my supracavicular fossa and, I was really alarmed. Plus I am having serious problems with my employer.
