REACT trial - side effects?

Hi to all you triple neg ladies, I was hoping some of you on the REACT trial may be able to give me some feedback.
I was dx June 07, finished chemo/mast/rads May 08, and as I’m triple neg, signed up for the REACT trial, I’ve been taking the tablets since April 07. Everything has been fine so far, but in the last week my stomach has seemed very sore, irritable, I’ve not been nauseous, but haven’t felt quite right. In the last few days I’ve also noticed my chest/heart feels strange, fluttery, a bit like when you have a triple Expresso. My heart rate doesn’t seem elevated though, and I don’t feel that my blood pressure has gone up, still have freezing cold feet! All this may be nothing to do with the trial though.
I have rung the trials office, and they are trying to get me in to see the onc next week, but wondered if anyone has had a similar experience???

I have not had any reaction like yours, but I have suffered an all over body rash. I had to stop taking the tablets, while I had the rash, I left it for a month and then started again with the tablets, and all was ok.

Hope someone can help you with more info

hi,
i was dx end oct 07 finished surgery and treatment aug08 and soon after started on react trial, i really do think though i was given the placebo as i did not feel any difference or benefit whilst on it, unfortunately it did not do me any good as recently dx again with bc so i have stopped taking the tablets.
