have been for tests at breast clinic had 2 mamograms and ultrasound doc says somthing there needs further investigation going for core biopsy tomorow less than 48hrs later was told couldnt be certain until results came back.This is where i am confused doc has already told me about surgery what is going to happen what is being removed andbreast nurse phoned me this morning with appointment for biopsy and continued to say that was bad news yesterday but we have the ball rolling to sort it out. I AM CONFUSED do they already know i have cancer i thought they needed the biopsy results for that

Sorry you have ended up here i am going through the same as you but my clinic is so busy that ive got to wait two weeks for urgent biopsy. there is not a lot for them to know before they get the results back. thay may have must had a cancellation. you will be ok. my doctor said i had good news then told me that they found something when thay did my 2 mammograms i dont class that as good news not sure what he was thinking so they don`t always know what they are talking about. good luck tomorrow will be thinking of you. let us know how you get on.

hi girls I was told mine was Bc before I had biopsy,they told me when i had my mammogram,seemingly the mamm’m show a darker area for cancer cysts don’t show on mamm’m the biopsy was to see what the possible grade of it was,mine was grade 1 which is good but this can go up or down when they remove the lump but it does give them good idea .The waiting is the worst part ,
My advice is to keep busy my house was never so clean,

thanks for message am having core biopsy done 3rd september they didnt have anyother appointments as i asked them thay have so many ladies at the clinic. when i went for the first test i had to wait for six weeks when i phoned them to bring it forward they were having trouble getting appointments for ladies that need them. had a mammogram and they saw a shadow buy they didnt tell me what it was.

thank you both for your comments really good to talk to someone else with similar problems I go for my appointment in 3 hours really nervous although i dont get told anything till tuesday Tracy i know how hard the waiting is i waited 7 weeks for first appointment although moving faster now good luck for the third of sept bablicious

had biopsy done not nearly as bad as i thought it was going to be i asked if i had cancer they told me i was down on my notes as being a catagory 4 which means they think i do at least i know what to expect come tuesday thanks for all your support bablicious

You will feel better when you know your results,I know I did,the not knowing is a nightmare and mind works overtime
With BC comes sleepless nights when everything is worse.you will get there there will be anger crying and yes even laughter,

My results were 6mm lump with clear lymphs So just 15 radiotherapy treatments and arimodex to be taken for 5yrs’
