Just a quick question Angela, has the Dr given you some antibiotics to see if it has any effect? and he has have they had any effect?

Hi linda yes he did give me antibiotics but nothing but have had abscesses before and it took two courses then still had to have it cut out but never on my breast but ill put that in my mind till monday cause im worrying myself sick.I know I have to be realistic and i am but if I keep this in my head till Monday perhaps I can sleep

Ps Linda he also said dont think they will work but dont worry(as if)thats why i got worried in the first place then he tapped me on the back and said if its bad news theyll sort it.Hes a good doctor but couldnt get out of there I think I ran faster than lingford christie lol
God sitting here alone ,friends supposed to come down but couldn’t and kids are out hope they wont be long cos they are my world. Feeling a bit low now (probably because I’ve had a bit of alcohol and that makes you think even more) so I’m going to watch tele now and stop researching sites and stop bugging everyone.Sorry everyone thats been so caring just i’ve got no one else to talk to because i dont want to stress my family out,even though they would understand i just dont want to worry them.Sorry but im really scared and i bet you lot on here who are so caring have been through so much more than me.I admire you all and wish you all the best

My cousin had to return to the clinic last week after a dodgy mammogram and like most people was absolutely fine.She was worried because I’ve been undergoing treatment and had worried herself silly.Even if you are unlucky enough to have a bad diagnosis you will find a lot of support and information on this site.If you have any questions about anything at all someone is always bound to have the appropriate knowledge about everything from symptoms to treatment.

Hi Angela, NO your are not ignorant!!! YOU have so so much on your plate at the moment. I think you are being really strong and am praying Monday will be good news for you.
I had a lump at the begining of April, and had the usual tests, including FNA and Core Biopsy. I then had surgery. Took eight weeks to find out, but I got the ALL CLEAR!!! But the wait seemed like for ever, but that was only because my biospy results came back inconclusve, most people know within a week for sure.
The reason i was on the site was because my mum was dx with breast cancer exactly a month before and is in the middle of treatment. It was because of her dx I thought I had better check my breasts and low and behold there was a lump, but it all turned out ok in the end thank god!! You are not being paranoid, your being normal, worrying is normal, I would be more concerned if you wern’t bothered! So no your not paranoid sweetie.
Mum is doing really well, she had a mastectomy in July and is in the middle of rads (radiotheraphy) at the moment. She is very tired though. Hubby and I are staying at a friends Flat in Brighton for four days and hoped mum and the family would be able to come down tomorrow for lunch as its her birthday, but the rads have made her exhausted. But apart from that shes doing ok.

Thanks girls for everything and sorry about last night was feeling a bit lonely.My friend is coming down in a bit so that means more alchohol lol but she is my best friend and I can tell her anything.
Her dad passed away 6 weeks ago of cancer but fought it for 3 years and she is a very caring friend.

Hi, I’m new to this site, I also found a lump just over two weeks ago, I’ve had the needle biopsy and the core one,(think that’s what there called) I was told both biopsies are clear but the lump doesn’t look “A typical” so its being removed on 30th of this month, I’m petrified, keeping a good from on for the family but I’m going out my mind. Reading your comments on this has helped though, thank you

Hi girls sorry I havnt let you know anything but I’ve been in hospital,came out yesterday.Couldn’t go for my appointment on Monday as mt G.P sent me to hospital as my lump became infected and had have it removed.They have removed a large abscess which i have to have packed every day by the district nurses.The doctor at the hospital has referred me for a scan to see what the underlying cause of this problem is but I’m pretty sure it was an abscess that I left for too long without treatment.So I think I can say I’ve been one of the lucky ones(thank god).
I thank you all for your concern and support and I will keep in touch(if you all dont mind) to see how you are all doing.
