I am 25 and have never had lumpy breasts or breast pain (maybe because there’s not a lot of breast!!!) but 2 weeks ago i felt a hardening in my breast. It is big and makes my breast look a lot bigger and has changed the shape of it. I went to my GP and i thought he would dismiss it but he wants me to go for further tests. He said under the 2 week thing! I panicked as i immediately thought cancer but i think that all lumps need to be seen in 2 weeks??
I am really worried deep down but trying to but a it will be fine attitude!! Any advise would be great!!

The two week turnaround is the limit that they have to see anyone with concerns, so don’t read anything into that.
You have done the best thing and got it checked out, can’t offer any words of advice as to whether it is or isn’t anything nasty, but you are in the best place for support through this very worrying time.
The waiting is the worst bit, but my thoughts are with you, and feel free to vent your worries and concerns here, we are here for you.

SJ is right. The two week wait is for any referral. Seeing your GP was a wise move and you’ll get lots of support here while you wait for the appointment. The wait is the worst bit. Try to take it easy in the meantime and do lean on the forums for support.

Hi hun, I have just been through the wait to been seen at the clinic and it is a hard and worrying 2 weeks. Try and stay posotive, it could be any number of things but you have done the right thing seeing your doctor. I had the all clear and would like to offer support to anyone else who needs it.
