hi all, im looking for some advice or reassurance, I have yearly mammograms due to family history, and today ive been recalled as a calcification has been found on my recent mammogram, I’ll be honest im worried sick and would really appreciate any advice, thanks in advance.
I was recalled for same reason and was told there are lots of reasons for calcification , many of them harmless.unfortunately in my case it turned out to be DCIS (cancer in milk ducts) but was caught very early so although I needed surgery I didn’t need chemo. Fingers crossed for you that all is well! When is your apt? They will probably do a biopsy to be sure one way or the other. Good luck! Xx
