I had aDCIS tumour removed in 2006 with no complications. Been suffering back pain for some months which has got progressively worse. Took myself to A and E 3weeks ago cos I could not bear the pain and the outcome is I have breast cancer cells in my bones. Drs not sure if it’s related to before or a new diagnosis. have seen the specialist today and I have 2 options : tamoxifen or chemotherapy. I know tamoxifen is the physically easier option but not sure if it’s the most effective. I am really struggling to make sense of it all, can anyone offer me any advice or information to help me make the decision regarding treatment. Thanks
