Recruiting for Someone like me volunteers

Hi Everyone

There is a fantastic volunteering opportunity available with Breast Cancer Care. 

We are currently recruiting for people to volunteer with our Someone like me service.  Many people have found this service invaluable when they want to talk to someone who has been in a similar position as themselves.  There are many different experiences and we try to represent as many of them as possible which is why we are currently recruiting.

Hello Anna,

 

My name is Jan and I live in Wootton Bassett, near Swindon, Wilts.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2015, had 2 operations, chemotherapy and have just finished my radiotherapy treatment.  I would love to volunteer as a Someone like me volunteer but do not live in the areas that you are currently recruiting for. 

 

Am I any use to you?
