red shiny lumps?

I have secondaries in my lymph nodes, a very large lump protruding on my neck but also some of the nodes in my lower neck where it meets the shoulder are very enlarged,hard and red and shiny and seem attached to the skin. I am concerned that these angry looking lumps might be the start of fungating tumours. Has anyone else had anything like this? Am seeing oncologist week after next as he is on annual leave until then.

So sorry to hear this latest. My lumps are at the moment all under the skin but the area of skin over them does look strained and shiny, and I also have many veins discolouring skin…purply red.

Could you see your GP as your onc. is away?

Really feel for you…know how horrible having tumours you can see growing is.
