Reduction in Radiotherapy Session Research Hi

Did anyone see anything yesterday on the news about the new research that says that by giving 13 stronger doses of Radio rather than the usual 25 might be as effective?

I missed it and have only been able to pick up a couple of bits.

If I’m right, there were 3 groups tested. 1 group with 25, 1 with 13, who had a slight reduction in the effectiveness and 1 with 13 that had a slight increase in the effectiveness.

I’m due to start RADS soon and I wish this would be in place now as I’m not looking forward to having to go to the hospital everyday, but I imagine it will be years yet before anything happens, if at all.

Anyway, if anyone knows anything else about this, I’d like to find out.
