I was 53 but had radiotherapy boosts, I think its more to do with margines than age, 2 magines had basically zero clearance as it was high up so went to the top end of breast tissue, and anteriorly was clise to the skin. The oncologist did mention I was young enough. They don’t stick rigidly to an arbitary age number, so its doubtful you would get a different treatment pre or post birthday. They look at how fit you are for age too. Im perhaps unusual by still being pre menopausal, no medical history and quite active normally. So, I might be over 50 but fitter than many under.
A lot of statistics, data etc. quotes over and under 50, when really, they mean pre or post menopause, which isn’t when menopause happens for many.
