Looking for possible treatments for my mother that had renal failure last year.
It all started in 1997 with breast cancer. In 2006 told it had come back in the bones. Last December picked up a stomach bug (prob from me and my kids!) and developed into kidney failure. After 5 months of dialysis kidneys seem to hold their own and dialysis stopped. Problem then was very little cancer drugs on offer that did not upset kidneys. Just been told it has spread to liver.
I know it is likely that our oncologist will only offer chemo but was wondering if anyone else has had problems with their kidneys and had found a treatment that has helped.
