This is the first time I have posted a query on this site. I read a discussion some time ago about Replens and the possibility of getting it on prescription. I am sure I read that someone was able to get it on prescription but it was called Replens and then had some letters after this. I cannot find this discussion and wondered if anyone out there remembers it and if so, could they advise.
I often read the comments/queries posted and have found them to be informative. When you are diagnosed with breast cancer you feel as if your world has fallen apart but these forums are a fantastic way of letting you know that there are hundreds of other people going through exactly the same things as you and very often a lot of people are having a harder time than you. I only wish that I had known about this site when first diagnosed as I feel that not only I, but my husband and daughter could also have received support through the forums at a time when we needed it most.

Hello Margaret
If you would like to search the site for other posts on the subject of Replens if you click on the ‘Search’ tab at the top of this page (underneath the Breast Cancer Care logo) and then click the ‘comments’ button and in the highlighted box type ‘Replens’ you will then be taken to all the threads containing the word Replens.
You may also like to take a look at the Replens website which gives futher details about this product the link is www.replens.co.uk
Hope this helps,
Kind regards

Hi Jane
Thanks for this. I went onto the replens site and was eventually guided to another site, www.scotmail.plus.com. To cut a long story short, all I need to do is ask my GP for a prescription. If available, it will save a fortune.
Regards
Margaret
Hi Margaret,
I get replens MD on repeat prescription every month. My gp had never heard of it but once he had looked it up there was no problem.
I pay by prepaid card and this saves a lot when having 2 prescriptions a month.
Hope your gp can help

Me too, my doctor gives me 2 packs on my prescription which lasts 2 months and certainly works out alot cheaper than buying them from Boots.
I’ve got an appointment with my GP on Friday so Will ask her for a prescription. It is so expensive buying from Boots.
