Thank you for the Resource Pack which I have now received. As yet I have only glanced at it as I thought it would be better to use after my Stereo results on the 18th. It should help me understand what they are talking about especially with all the acronyms that are used for type and stages.
Although I have neen told the ‘abnormality’ is small and has been detected early I still can’t shift the feeling that someone has cut the string on my balloon( life). A cold wave came over me when I was given an appointment card after the stereo. All my other appointments had been on a A4 letter. An appointment card with all the dates to be filled in looks like I am coming back again and again. I had been convincing myself that something so small would not be worth the resources of the NHS that have so far been involved. I read of others who would seem to need those resources so much than I. Is it really a Postcode lottery as to how quickly you are seen and diagnosed or is this small, black, in my thoughts, freckle enough to put the mark of C on me.
