Just been up for my op results and they are all clear !. Cant describe how I feel. Nothing found other than was found on the mamo (high grade DCIS)
no lymph node involvement. so no further treatment, not even hormone therapy. After all my doom and gloom and worrying I feel like Ive come out of a dark hole.
There is hope out there folks, I hope that all of you waiting will have good news.

Just got to get over this sore skin thing now. Im also going to write to the Breast Unit to thank them because they have been wonderful. I may not have been impressed by the after surgery care on the wards but the unit staff were brilliant. Got to wait for my breast prosthetic fitting appointment now.

Hello Jackie, I am paying for someone to do the horses at the moment, it is costing me an absolute fortune, so am glad that at least I know its not going to go on for weeks.
I have been up today to just to fill haynets and turn out one quiet pony. Will have to leave the big lad for now till Im fully recovered as certainly wouldnt be able to rug up
and he can be a bit of a so and so comign in and out. I have told him that I will be riding again soon and he was not impressed!
Surgeon said as no evidence of invasion didnt think necessary. I dont know if they dont test DCIS for hormones,. so pleased not to have to go on Tamoxifen I didnt ask.
