Results after a mastectomy

I have widespread DCIS & had a single mastectomy 2 weeks ago, I went to clinic this week for results & a check up.
The results were inconclusive, they showed the DCIS which I knew anyway & showed a large area of it which again I knew so no news there really, it then had a section under lymphovascular invasive and it said possible, awaiting further test results.
I had a sentinel lymph node biopsy before my operation which came back fine so I was shocked when they said that there may be invasive after all.
I don’t get the results for a week so am worrying now, to be honest I don’t know why they told me any of this, I would rather they just waited until they knew one way or another rather than give me results that say possible on them!
Has anyone had DCIS then gone on to have this invasive lymphovascular? And what is likely to be the next step if I do? I have had the mastectomy already.

Thanks
